This position is best suited to a technically skilled individual preferably with a minimum of one year experience in a data entry or administration in aviation.


Preference will be given to someone with experience in aviation record keeping. The candidate must be able to work effectively as a member of a larger team and have a meticulous approach to data entry, record keeping, and communication. Organizational skills are essential.

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Having an understanding of policy and procedures

  • Learn the Maintenance Control Manual and Maintenance Policy Manual

  • Keep maintenance tracking software up-to-date as required using our internal software

  • Update all aircraft technical records within the 30-day legal requirement

  • Keep up-to-date with Transport Canada requirements

  • Ensure that all aircraft and component records are accurate and recorded

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance or Operations Manager

The applicant must be competent with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Data entry experience is a major asset. This is a full-time position with benefits, located in Thunder Bay. The starting salary is based on experience.

Light and Intermediate

  • 1500 Hours Rotary PIC
  • 500 Hours PIC on one or more of the following types: Bell 206 and 407
  • External Load / Long Line proficiency
  • Meet ASRD and BCFS Pilot Competencies
  • Preference to those with a Mountain Course and/or those with 500 hours of mountain experience


  • 3000 Hours Rotary PIC
  • 500 Hours on Bell 212/412
  • External Load / Long Line proficient
  • Meet ASRD and BCFS Pilot Competencies
  • Preference to those with a Mountain Course and/or those with 500 hours of mountain experience

Preference given to candidates with

  • Precision longline experience


Tech-savvy, strong communication with clients and staff, team player, good judgment and PDM skills, a commitment to high professional standards & safety, analytical skills, and an excellent work ethic.
